Our Mission
Development of a comprehensive, coordinated water management plan for the Devils Lake Basin that will protect the economic and biological values of the Devils Lake Basin while providing optimum benefits for agriculture, wildlife & fisheries, recreation and economic development for its citizens.
Devils Lake Joint Water Resource Board members are chosen by the County Water Resource Districts they represent. Each county has a Water Replenishment District (WRD) board, those members are appointed by their respective County Commissioners. Typically our board members live in a portion of their county within the Devils Lake Basin.
